Subscription and billing

Last reviewed May 14, 2026

NimbleCal starts free. You can upgrade to Plus any time.

Check your current plan

In the app:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Subscription.

You'll see your current plan, usage limits, and billing dates (and trial dates, if applicable).

If you cancel or downgrade

NimbleCal does not delete your data just because your subscription changes.

If you cancel auto-renewal, you keep Plus until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account returns to Free.

What changes when you're no longer on Plus:

  • Free plan limits apply (1 calendar, 3000 events)
  • Sending event invitations is disabled

You keep all your existing calendars and events. If you have more than the Free plan allows, you can still view everything, but you cannot:

  • Create new calendars or events
  • Edit events in calendars beyond the Free plan limit

These limits lift once you are back under the Free plan limit or upgrade again.

Sync still works under Free plan limits.

See: Plan limits and usage

Upgrade to Plus

You can upgrade from:

  • The in-app Subscription screen, or
  • The public Pricing page.

If you're signed out, the public Pricing page sends you to sign up or sign in first, then returns you to Pricing so you can finish choosing Plus.

Manage billing, receipts, and invoices

If you have an active subscription, use Manage billing to open the customer portal.

From there you can:

  • Update your payment method
  • Cancel your subscription
  • Download receipts (and invoices, if available)

Refunds

See: Refund policy

To request a refund during the first-payment refund window:

If a refund is approved, the paid subscription is canceled and the account returns to Free. Refunds do not delete your data.

If you want to leave NimbleCal entirely, account deletion is a separate step.
