Your NimbleCal account is what ties your calendar to encryption keys and sync across devices.

Create an account

  1. Go to app.nimblecal.com.
  2. Choose Create account.
  3. Follow the prompts.

If you are asked to confirm your email, check your inbox (and spam) for a verification link. After you click the link, NimbleCal signs you in and shows a short "Email confirmed" message.

Sign in

  1. Go to app.nimblecal.com.
  2. Choose Sign in.
  3. Enter your email and password.
Pro tip
Use a password manager. It makes "unlock your encrypted data" prompts much less annoying.

Forgot your password?

Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen. For privacy, NimbleCal always shows a confirmation message, even if the email address is not on file.

Because NimbleCal uses end-to-end encryption, password resets have extra safety steps. If your account has not set up an encryption key yet (for example, a brand-new account), the reset is straightforward.

Sign out (shared computer safety)

In the app, open the user menu (top right), then choose Sign out.

If this is a shared computer, also consider clearing your browser data for app.nimblecal.com after signing out.
