Calendar colors and visibility

Change a calendar color

  1. Open the calendar ... menu in My Calendars.
  2. Choose Edit calendar.
  3. Pick a color (or enter a custom hex color like #00beff).
  4. Save.

Hide or show a calendar

You can temporarily hide a calendar without deleting anything.

In My Calendars, either:

  • Click the colored dot to toggle visibility, or
  • Open the calendar ... menu and choose Hide Calendar / Show Calendar.

To focus on one calendar, open its ... menu and choose Show only this. If that calendar is already the only one showing, the same menu changes to Show all calendars.

If you create a new event and its target calendar is hidden, NimbleCal shows that calendar again so the event appears on the grid right away. You can hide it again from My Calendars whenever you want.

Tip: If your view feels "empty", make sure at least one calendar is visible.
