NimbleCal is designed to feel fast: you can click around, but you can also fly with shortcuts when you want.
Switch calendar views
Use the view switcher in the top toolbar to change how your calendar is laid out.
These views are available today:
- Day
- 3-day
- Week
- Month
- Agenda (a rolling list)
Keyboard shortcuts (when you're not typing in a text field):
- Day: D
- 3-day: 3
- Week: W
- Month: M
- Agenda: A
Show or hide weekends
In the view switcher menu, you can toggle Show weekends.
- When weekends are hidden, Week view hides Saturday and Sunday.
- When weekends are hidden, 3-day view still shows 3 days by skipping Saturday and Sunday (for example, Fri, Mon, Tue).
Navigate time (previous/next)
To move through time:
- Click the previous/next arrows in the toolbar, or
- Use ← and →
On touch devices, you can also swipe:
- Swipe left to go to the next period
- Swipe right to go to the previous period
Jump to today
Click Today in the toolbar, or press T.
Refresh and reopen
NimbleCal remembers the view and date range you were looking at, so refreshing the page usually keeps you in the same spot.
If you reopen the app on a different day and your last visible range was entirely before today, NimbleCal will start you at today instead (so the first calendar paint is immediately useful).
Use the sidebar and mini calendar
The left sidebar includes a mini calendar you can use to jump quickly to a date.
You can also collapse the sidebar for more space:
